What should Dracula build in 2026?

Hey 👋🏻 vampires,

Your creativity and contributions keep amazing us. Here’s our question:

What should Dracula build in 2026?

§Reflections on the past year

Looking back at 2025, we're filled with gratitude for everything we've accomplished together. It was a year of really cool milestones.

  • We hit 400 supported apps. That felt impossible at the start. You kept pushing forward, adding themes for everything from competitive programming to modern terminal emulators.
  • Introduced new light theme. In July, we finally answered the question we'd been hearing for years: "Will you create a light theme?" We launched Alucard as open source for everyone, not just Pro users. After months of iterations, we're proud to keep the Dracula look.

But it doesn't stop there:

  • New Spec. In August, we launched our new Dracula Theme specification page.. It makes it easier for contributors to implement themes correctly across all platforms.
  • New Website. We renovated the website with a modern tech stack, while preserving the classic Dracula aesthetic.

We’re just getting started. We want to build more, theme more apps, and reach more developers. We can’t do it without you.

§New on Dracula

We're kicking off 2026 with 7 fantastic new additions:

  • Beeper: All your chats, in 1 place. A unified inbox for your messaging apps.
  • FreshRSS: Own your feed. A self-hosted RSS feed aggregator.
  • Home Assistant: Automate your home. Open-source home automation.
  • Marta: A fast dual-pane workflow. A dual-pane file manager for macOS.
  • Rackula: Keep servers in check. Server and infrastructure management.
  • Starship Powerline Preset: A sharper prompt. A powerline-style preset for the Starship prompt.
  • Trudido: Plan, track, repeat. A productivity and task management tool.
